Bang & Olufsen fans who lament about the brand’s lack of wireless headphones can finally smile cos’ it has one now, the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H9 Wireless Headphone. This first for the Danish high-end audio equipment maker, like the company’s many other products, is not lacking of features. For starter, advanced Active Noise Cancellation comes as standard, along with (and naturally) Bang & Olufsen signature sound. Now, if there’s one thing the world doesn’t lack, it would be wireless headphones and Bang & Olufsen is well aware of that.
So to this end, the Danish company made sure it has the best it has to offer in this pair of cans and also, pluck in at least one unique feature that’s sure to make BeoPlay H9 stands out from its competitions. Speaking of unique feature, Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H9 wireless headphones boast a battery that’s not only rechargeable, but also replaceable too, and that, my friends, is not a feature you see on everyday. Replaceable battery aside, the battery is in itself applaudable, offering an amazing playback of up to 14 hours. From the look of it, B&O is determined to make sure your sound holes are filled with blissful audio for as long as possible.
Other notables include a lightweight construction boasting luxurious materials like leather and aluminum, intuitive touch interface (crafted in said aluminum) for music control and calls, a micro USB port for charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack for use with the supplied cable for continual listening even when the battery conks out. As with most Bang & Olufsen’s products, BeoPlay H9 Wireless Headphone comes with a carrying pouch for stowing the cans when not in use and it comes with a flight adaptor too for, you know, in case you need to use it in-flight and you probably will want to, cos’ there’s no secret that aircraft headphones sucks, big time.
Introduced earlier this month, Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H9 Wireless Headphone is now available in exchange for $499 of your hard-earned money. It is without doubt pricey, but you know what you getting into, don’t you?
